I'm super behind too (just started sewing my strip sets on Monday night) and I don't have slow shipping to blame. Of course I got 5 sets done, then ran out of thread & have been snowed in so I can't get more!Breehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05187644809917082275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846470566746088487.post-79289597848825027192011-02-01T19:48:15.992-06:002011-02-01T19:48:15.992-06:00I am the same way! And I typically refuse to frog my knitting. :P

It's adorable that she wants to wear it anyway, though. And the second hat is tooooo cute!

I ended up jumping into the postage stamp quilt along, too. I'm using a yellow with Central Park for the front, and I'm going to do a lot of piecing with Central Park charms on the back. So I figure it will still be unique enough. ;) Now I just need to finish up a baby quilt so I can start on MY quilt!

Good luck with the linen!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10026306612881676022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846470566746088487.post-13889666544473630372011-02-01T13:44:39.754-06:002011-02-01T13:44:39.754-06:00Love the hats. A part of me wants to try knitting, but then reality sets in and reminds me I need to stop finding new projects or hobbies.

I'm using linen for my diamond quilt. One tip I got from someone is to starch it stiff. It helps a ton.Katihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09609256565071955410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846470566746088487.post-40353101468803260762011-02-01T13:06:25.784-06:002011-02-01T13:06:25.784-06:00Oooh me likey! And your children are adorable! :) I go in cycles between knitting and quilting, although lately my knitting has taken the back seat for a while now. Good luck with your postage stamp quilt, I am almost half done. But, I know what you mean. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to take part just because everyones will be the "same". Happy Sewing!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14987106319947282219noreply@blogger.com
