Work in Progress Wednesday

Haven't had much to show you lately, but I am multitasking with a bunch of projects.

Priority- I am putting together a quilt to auction for my daughter's preschool in 2 weeks. Had each of the 65 kids sign on a fabric leaf in their sweet little preschool script, and am appliqueing them to a tree. Coming along!

It's Time Already- My Nicey Jane New Wave quilt top that I made in the summer (look, grass!) has finally got a back and is basted and waiting for some quilting love.

I'll Get There- As predicted, I finished my postage stamp quilt top in a frenzy, then nothing. But I have fabric for the back and will get moving on that soon.

On the Needles- I am feeling super duper-ly smart that I have figured out how to knit in the round on double pointed needles and a circular needle, with the help of You Tube. I am part way through a new hat. I don't think I will ever see the end of this monster sized ball of yarn.....

On Deck- once I clear the above off my plate, I am excited to get going on my daughter's Rainy Days and Mondays quilt, a FFA2 quilt using Kate's awesome new soon-to-be-released pattern for the other daughter, some quilt ideas for my box-o-Bliss, and I PROMISE....I am going to cut into some of my uber-stash of Anna Maria Horner. One pile, for starters. Baby steps ;)

Linking up with Lee and friends at Freshly Pieced's WIP Wednesday.

Yay, fun projects! The preschool tree idea is genius! I might have to steal that...
What did you decide for your Hello Betty Back? Mine is still languishing too.
Isn't Youtube the best for knitting tutorials? I love it. I was trying to figure out some stitch last week and I found the perfect video. So helpful!

Wow! What an ambitious but fun thing to make for an auction. A great idea!

Love the pink of the yarn. It looks so very soft. Way to go mastering those needles!

Love the tree and the leaves, such a fun thing to do. Now will you have your husband buy it for you at the auction or will you be able to let it go? It looks like it's going to be pretty cute ...

The tree quilt is awesome!!! I love it. A smaller version would make a lovely wall hanging for an end of the year teacher gift. Super cute. Can't wait to see it finished!

The tree quilt is a brilliant idea. I may be using it for preschool end of school gifts. Certainly better than making two big quilts! And such a cute one.

sweet! Your tree looks just like 'Mandy's tree' - a keepsake commission I'm doing with a mom's baby sling fabrics. ; )

I really like the oranges, teal, and browns in your postage stamp quilt!! And is that muslin as a background? It has so much texture! Great fun to see what you have been up to!

Your New Wave quilt reminds me that I have one "In Progress" - hmmm....maybe that will be my project for my quilting retreat next weekend (I CANNOT WAIT!).

OMG, the tree quilt with signed leaves is so cute! My daughter goes to a nature preschool, so this idea is FULL of possibilities for me, if you don't mind me borrowing it. : ) And of course, the rest of your post is packed with fabulousness as well!

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday, have a great week!
