Sherbet Pips Giveaway!!

Sorry! This giveaway is now closed! In the interest of slimming down some of my fabric stash that is not in use, I have another giveaway for you today. Back in December, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a layer cake of Sherbet Pips. For the same shipping, I could get two. Having no pattern in mind at the time, and being consumed by a full-out Pips frenzy, I thought I should go for it. In the end, it only took one layer cake to make my Pips quilt:

Which means...I have one layer cake left.


Calmmmm down. I am nice and all, but not that nice. I am not giving it ALL away. The Middle Child has insisted she have some pink puppies in her Far Far Away 2 quilt that is next up on my to-do list once her sister's quilt is completed. And I set aside some of the other duplicate squares for a baby quilt I have in mind. But that leaves a stack of swinging girls and scooters and puppies and more that I would like to share. A total of 23 slices of 10" by 10" goodness, or almost 2 yards in total. Enough to make 2 baby quilts or, with some added solids or coordinates, you could manage a nice lap quilt with that! Here's how to enter: 1. Leave me a comment telling me your favorite flavour of sherbet or ice cream. 2. My faithful following peeps can leave a second comment. 3. If you blog about this giveaway, leave a third comment with the link. BONUS: I am going to give one extra entry for every comment that was left on a PREVIOUS post in March (except for the last giveaway post). This is to give a bit more of a reward for all of you who are so sweet and take the time to encourage me along the way. I love hearing from you! Now don't go back and try and comment now, ya scammers! Only comments before today will count ;) You don't need to do anything for this, I will take care of it automatically. Open for international as well as local friends. Winner will be announced on Friday April 1 after noon sometime (CST). This way you can be assured it is not an April Fool's joke ;) Best of luck!

    Yikes! I so love Sherbet Pips (well, who doesn't?). Aren't you generous!

    My favourite ice cream flavor is mocha fudge, but lately I've been more into gelato, specifically Bacio flavour. It is delicious. Ahhh, but I gave up sweets for Lent so I'll just have to dream about it until Easter.

    I can't choose a favorite sherbert flavor, always a toss up between lime and orange, so I like that swirl kind so I get both!

    I LOVE Haggen Daas Raspberry Sherbet, but of all ice cream-type desserts, sherbet isn't really high on the list. I think Coffee ice cream would be my favorite!

    My all time favorite sherbet is hagen daas mango. My fav ice cream ever is Berried Treasure from Turkey Hill. Cheesecake ice cream with big chunks of cheesecake with a mixed berry swirl ... noooommmmmmnomnomnom. Of course, they haven't put that flavor out in a few years now. :(

    I know my chances are very slim but here is my entry :D My favorite sherbet is a tossup between lime and pineapple :) Thanks for the opportunity. YOUR Sherbet Pips quilt is gorgeous, the nine patches mixed with octagons are so complimentary with the Pips. And the binding, I love it!

    You are so generous, Kristie, this is an awesome giveaway!!! I've never really fell in love with a sherbet before, but my local grocery store, Publix, has this frozen yogurt that I'm totally head over heels for - it's chocolate ice cream with ribbons of fudge, Oreos, and something else I can't seem to remember - I think skinny strips of vanilla ice cream or something. It's absolutely wonderful!!!

    I am a really big fan of stuff that turns my mouth blue. I don't know why, maybe it reminds me of being a kid! To answer your question, I like blue raspberry sherbet (rainbow is really good, too)!

    Mmmm! Love sherbet - so little calories compared to ice cream. Meijer carries some pineapple - that has little pineapple pieces in it. Yum!

    Favorite sherbert is orange with chocolate chips, but it's hard to find with the chocolate chips pre-mixed in.

    Right now it's a complete toss-up for a favorite ice cream, but lately I think Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns is towards the top of my list!

    I love this fabric line and did not buy any when it was available (sigh!), so I would love to win some. Your quilt is gorgeous!!!! My fav ice cream has to be a decadent raspberry with dark, dark chunks of chocolate! YUM! Graeters makes it best, in my opinion.

    I love getting banana ice cream mixed with cookie batter ice cream and cookie douch chunks at cold stone for ice cream. mmmm..... I also am partial to watermelon on the sherbert side.

    Hoofprints is my favourite flavour. Here's the description from Scotsburn Dairy who makes it: rich and creamy toffee flavoured ice cream swirled with a chocolate fudge ripple and overflowing with luscious melt in your mouth chocolate caramel cups.     I used to work in an ice cream shop and it spoiled me for the grocery store stuff!. Depending on the day, my favourites are still lemon sorbet (the real stuff) or dark chocolate gelato. I love this line! Thanks for the chance.
