When I say crazy....

....this is a prime example!

Winnipeg was given 3 weeks to sell 13,000 season tickets for our proposed NHL hockey team in order to secure their arrival. Season tickets are between $2000-6000 per seat and are a 3-5 year commitment, depending on the section, to show that we are committed to the team long term.

They sold out in 17 minutes. And there are 7000 people on the waiting list.

Go Jets Go! Man, I love this town :-) And yes, I will be one of the lucky ones there, cheering!

Wow! I hadn't heard that they sold out! Great news! Do you know if the name will stay Jets?

At the moment we are caught up in Canucks fever here in Greater Vancouver. Glad you guys are getting a team again. It is after all the Canadian sport!

I almost commented on the lost one, that You should've seen, what happened here, when Finland won on ice hockey... But the scale is still a bit different :D

That's insane! So hockey is big there right?

How many games do you get for that kind of money? I think the Jets can safely assume that they're going to get a lot of home town support!

Have you any idea how much fabric that would have got you instead?!

I don't think they will be called the jets though...that's just what I heard.

I stumbled onto your site after seeing your post on yarn wreaths on pinterest, I live in Toronto now but spent most of my life living about an hour from Winnipeg.

Small world!

Oh, and I love your site, I will definitely be a regular reader now.
