Seriously. This much.
It's gonna be full-on sugar high around here for awhile. And I'm not even talking about the kids!
And some costume and pumpkin photos, just for kicks! We never make a big deal about costumes because the kids change their minds about a hundred times leading up to Halloween. I just have them pick something out of the dress up box as we head out the door! FYI, all Canadian Halloween costumes must be able to accommodate a full snowsuit underneath them ;) Luckily, this year, it was a beautiful, mild night!
Yes, Big G has his shirt on backwards....
Glad your night was mild. Ours here in Halifax was a bit cold. I made my girls costumes and almost did not leave room for the snow suits!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it awesome weather?!?!? It was so much fun and it was Miss K's first trick or treating, she was adorably excited!
ReplyDeleteChips! I'll take chips over chocolate ANYDAY! Dang, Carson got no chips :(. Good thing there's a dentist in the family! Thanks for sharing their excited faces... ADORABLE!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute
ReplyDeletemm- salt and vinegar chips!!
ReplyDeleteI wish we got more chips.
being from Canada I know about the snowsuit thing- but we had to wear a big sweater last night - it was chilly here in NC
That's a LOT of candy. I suspect there will be extra teeth brushing at your place for the next week or so !
ReplyDeleteBeing Aussie sucks ...no Halloween ...no reason to eat candy indiscriminately!
We had beautiful t-or-t weather in BC - only a sweater/jacket required this year and no rain! Got to love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat Terri said! It was a great night for it last night, but that means the fireworks and crackers go on WAY too late, as in, all night. That's a part of Vancouver Hallowe'en I could do without.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your girls totally worked their cute factor in the candy-acquisition department. The treat bag dump at the end of the night was always my favourite part of Hallwe'en and my daughter did the same when she got home, too. Was son's first non-trick or treating year so there will be some sharing of the haul!
So Canadians give out chips too? I could use some chips after all those can't Reese's cups!
ReplyDeleteCan't = dang.
ReplyDeleteBloody hell!
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time, too! And I may or may not have claimed a few bags of those Old Dutch chips as part of the Mommy Tax...
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a Mommy Tax! Also, chips.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! But I'm from Massacusetts, and soooooo many towns had to cancel Halloween because of the freak October snowstorm. Too dangerous for the kiddies with the power outages, downed trees, and electric wires. I guess it was Mother Nature that played the trick, and no treats!
ReplyDeleteMan! Your kids are CUTE!!!!!
