We are in the midst of a cold snap up here in Winnipeg, with temperatures in the minus 30 degrees Celsius range (that's a frosty -22 on the Fahrenheit scale).
But don't worry about me, it's a great day to make snowballs ;)
3-5" of the white stuff predicted for tonight/tomorrow. Have almost run out of spots to put the stuff...that's saying something since we live on 20+ acres!!! Sunny right now and about to head to the sewing machine for some quality time! Very SUB-zero by the end of the week. Welcome to January!!!! That kind of snowball is always in season :-)
Since we moved to NC (from Ont) 3 years ago our blood has thinned a bit. Although I am not nearly as cold as people are when its 0c or lower. (a few days at 17f
Stay warm! We have more snow and now ice adding itself on top of that. A wonderful excuse to sew today. Your Pips look adorable! Is that block called a snowball?
Found you somehow, but didn't realize you were Canadian until I saw the mention of Celsius! :) I'm going to blame you for the cold weather we've had here in Ontario all weekend. Although it gave a great reason to shop for fabric! ;)
Brrrr, ... so cold!
ReplyDeleteSnow balls....great idea. We're snowed right under here in Edmonton too. Thanks goodness I'm off to Victoria in a few hours...I need a little green.
ReplyDeleteNice to be reading another Manitoban's blog - I am in Altona area. Let's hope that south wind brings some warmer temps our way!
ReplyDeleteWhat a winter wonderland!! Just looking at your photo makes me feel cold...even if it's a sunny 67 degrees here in Florida... ;)
