Do you ever ride this kind of emotional roller coaster when making a quilt?
I have had moments during this quilt and the last when I swore NEVER AGAIN. Ended up loving the last one...last night I was ready to throw my Pips quilt in the garbage...this morning we are on speaking terms again. Hoping love will bloom in the end. Will keep you posted.
Wait. Other people have moments where they hate their quilts? Then love them in the end? Really? In that case, I'll confess - I spend a lot of time hating my quilts before I love them in the end.
ReplyDeleteLoving the hand quilting! I often get mad at my quilts when they are not coming together as I want. I'll put them down for a few days, then I fall in love with them again!
ReplyDeleteWow, Kristie, I really love the hand quilting!!! I think we all have our hate moments with the quilts we make, at least I know I do. I think this one is quite lovely, though, so I'm sure you will love it in the end :)
ReplyDeleteWhy?!
ReplyDeleteAww, btdt.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks amazing, though!
Hating your quilts is normal mate but if the quilt starts talking back that's when you're in trouble! :)
ReplyDeleteMy quilting buddies often laugh that a lot of love goes into our quilts but so does a lot swearing...you know...I hate this bleep bleep quilt!!!!...type thing. In the end we usually love it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how could you hate such a sweet little quilt? I'm sure you'll love it :)
