Bought it. Don't need it. Want some free fabric?

Sorry! This giveaway is now closed!

I am starting to feel a wee bit guilty about the stash of fabrics. And the amount of time I would (honestly) need to sew them all up in their glory. My "to make" list is a mile long, of things I am aching to get to.....

Anyhoo, as mentioned I recently bought some fat quarters of Kate Spain's Fandango when I was at a local quilt shop. Love them. BUT. No plan for them. No time for them. Want 'em?

Up for grabs: these 6 fat quarters.

Up to 3 chances to walk away with the prize:

1. Leave me a comment about a purchase you feel guilty about...fabric, clothes, whatever!
2. Leave a second comment if you are a follower- because you guys are great :)
3. If you want to blog about it, leave a third comment.

Open for international as well as local friends. Winner will be announced on Friday March 25 after noon sometime (CST).

Best of luck!

Right now I would have to say my sons shoes- i brought them home and discovered they are the same size as his last ones!!! (hes in 17 months old) I bought more expensive Striderites and put them on him to wear right away.
After 2 days of wearing them I looked at the tag in them - they are just a different style (walking shoes and not prewalker) but the same size!!

gaaa

Hi, I am a follower from Holland. I just joined but I had you allready in my favourites. Love the way you write and what you make. Saterday I was at a fabricmarket and I bought too much fabric for making bags. The fabric is coated and makes a lovely result. I have a webshop with baby stuff, all selfmade, knitted, hooked, from fabric etc. I use quiltfabric for dresses for selfmade dolls and quilts. Good luck and perhaps see you on my blog...

Hi, I am a follower from holland and I thought I posted a reaction this morning. But I will try again. I really like your give away. The Quilt fabrics are beautifull. I love to work with quilt fabrics because of the lovely prints. Last saturday I bought too much coated fabric to make some bags. But I have allready 2 bags in my head to make for my friend and my aunt. Will you follow my blog also?? I make all kinds of things, knitted, hooked, with felt, fabric etc.
Hope that my post will come this time and I will make a chance to win the fabric.
Have a nice day

Fabric = Guilt. I have way more than I will ever use. The only way I can justify it is by making things for other people. My rationalization is that I was going to spend the money on a gift anyway, so why not get the fabric for it now??? Thanks for the give-away!

Hi Those fabrics are lovely. I really admire Kate Spains designs. :)
I feel guilty about buying some nice clothes that were just a little too tight, but I would lose those couple of pounds and they would fit-OK?? hasn't happened yet, every time I see those clothes hanging there, I feel guilty. :)

I saw this line in my local quilt shop and would have bought it but it was $20/metre. Yikes!

Other than fabric, which I almost always feel guilty about, I also feel guilty about buying myself clothes. I am my mother's daughter - she still wears my sister's cast-offs instead of buying something for herself!

Fandango is fantabulous!

I just bought new plants for the front yard. I kill everything green. I have no idea why I think I can keep these alive. I have a feeling in a month or so I'll be seeing money wilting in my front yard dying from lack of attention or know-how.

I'm a huge Fandango fan! I'd love to make something with this! Best of luck with settling your life down some. I can totally relate, but wish it were easier said than done!

I could give that lovely stack of fabrics a home :) They are gorgeous and would make a beautiful start on a quilt for my friend's 60th brithday this summer. ! Thanks for sharing a lovely giveaway.

This goes perfectly with my stuff I buy and don't need! I recently made a deal with myself to use all the fabric I have before I buy more. If I can use half of the fabric it will be a success. I can't buy fabric, but who said anything about getting some for free?

I really don't have a purchase I feel guilty about right now. BUT... I can always go buy something really cool and get back to you on that if need be. :)

Not sure if this counts, but I follow you through having you on my Favorites list. Subscribing by email is the most convenient way for me to follow (which you don't have, but should TOTALLY look into!) as I never check the RSS readers because they aren't on my home page.
