This little piggy

I was at the library and came across this book:

Immediately, The Middle Child begged, pleaded, whined, "Mommyyyyyy?? Can you PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE knit me this cute pig???"

Big Gulp. Looked hard. But I checked out the book (in fact, I loved it so much I have since ordered a copy!). And I happened to have some pink yarn in my stash (when the heck did I start a yarn stash???). And here is what I made:

Sweet piggy tail (thanks, Kathy!):

A-DOR-able fabric details in the ears and on the feet:
And a very happy daughter:

It was actually quite simple. Honest! I am pretty certain I will be making 95% of the cuties in this book. It is so well written and photographed, I would recommend it to everyone!

Oh how stinkin' cute is this piggy!?? Now why don't I know how to knit? This adorable piggy is worth the effort to learn, eh? Your daughter is one very lucky little girl to have such a talented mommy. I love the fabric detail on piggy's little tootsies. Wonderful!

That is so cute. I can't wait to see what else you make from the book; I'm liking the look of the frog on the front.

That pig is really stinkin' cute. I knit a stuffed pig once upon a time - but it ended up not turning out nearly as well. It was knit in multiple pieces and the pattern had no directions for how to sew it up. Needless to say, my improv skills need improvement.

I have this book, the patterns are gorgeous and with four little girly grandaughters to cater for it was a good buy.

Love your sweet piggy.
